Archaeology
Alpine’s
Archaeology Program provides archaeological resource surveys, technical
assistance, project reviews, ownership-wide records searches, geo-spatial
data-base/inventory compilations, securable user friendly “hard-copy”
records inventories, pre-field research, and archaeological report production to
foresters and other resource professionals.
Its purpose is to implement a program of identification and management
for archaeological and historical resources located within project areas subject
to various cultural resource protection regulations. The Alpine
Archaeology Program has one full-time professional archaeologist on staff.
