Alpine
regularly hires for the following positions: Forest planning, wildlife habitat
conservation planning, forest biometrics, water resource and watershed management, visual
impact analysis, mapping and GIS applications, logging, geology, and operations planning.
Entry level positions include wildlife surveying, unit layout, stream analysis and
archaeology surveying.
All candidates for employment must have a 4-year college degree in forest management or a
related discipline. You must be proficient with basic computer applications. You must be
in good physical condition. You must understand and feel at ease with the basic tenets of
industrial forestry. You must possess an analytical spirit, a sense of adventure and a
willingness to travel.
